Book sale, children’s event

The Lennoxville Library joins in the fun for Saturday’s Lennoxville Street Festival, August 22, with a book sale. (Different titles than our last sale, so come on down!)

We will also hold two special children’s events.  The storytellers at Maison des arts de la parole (www.maisondesartsdelaparole.com) will present two performances. At 10:30 a.m., it’s “The Brave Little Tailor” in English. This will be followed with “Cinderella” in French at 11:30 a.m. Both the young and the young at heart are invited, and yes, it’s free. Please come.

Our Open House is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to showcasing our beautiful library, staff and volunteers will be on site to chat, to show you the new online catalogue system and explain how you can reserve, renew your book loans and request interlibrary loans — all from the comfort of your own home.
