Canadian activist Naomi Klein has won this year’s lucrative Hilary Weston Writers’ Trust Prize for Nonfiction for her “groundbreaking” book about climate change This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate. It comes with a $60,000 cheque.
Also announced this last week: The winner of the prestigious Mann Booker Prize. It’s Richard Flanagan for The Narrow Road To The Deep North.
